By accessing or using GitShip (the “Service”), operated at gitship.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
GitShip is a social media scheduling platform that allows you to compose, schedule, and publish content to multiple social media platforms. The Service includes AI-powered content generation from GitHub activity and cross-platform content adaptation.
You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or publish through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
The Service uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate content suggestions based on your GitHub activity and post drafts. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before publication. We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or suitability of AI-generated content.
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including LinkedIn, X, Threads, Reddit, and GitHub. Your use of these platforms through our Service is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs, rate limits, or account restrictions imposed by these platforms.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Scheduled posts may fail due to platform API limitations, token expiry, or network issues. The Service includes retry mechanisms, but we cannot guarantee successful publication.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GitShip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to failed publications, content errors, or account restrictions on third-party platforms.
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms. We will notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
For questions about these Terms, contact us at legal@gitship.dev.
